Tadano's story began in 1919, when founder Masuo Tadano started out as a steel fabricator in Takamatsu, Japan. The company that would become Tadano Ltd. was formally established in 1948, and by 1955 it had introduced Japan's first hydraulic truck crane. That early breakthrough set the direction for a company now regarded as one of the largest crane manufacturers in the world.
Tadano's current line-up covers all-terrain, rough-terrain, crawler, truck, and cargo cranes, together with a wide range of aerial work platforms for construction, utility, and shipbuilding work.
